Troops
They are an essential component of any empire, either to defend what you have or to attack other targets in order to expand your empire. Each race has its types of troops from level 1 to level 45. All cities, unless they are under adversity, generate troops every day from level 1 to the level determined by the population of the city. This means that the more population a city has, the better troop levels it will produce each day. Troops level 1, level 2 and level 3 are produced by all cities. Then it will depend on the amount of population to produce a new additional level of troops. Each 5,000 of population the city has, will produce a new higher level of troops.
For example, a city of 5,834 inhabitants will produce troops level 1 up to level 3. When it passes 10,000 inhabitants, it will be available to buy troops level 4. When it exceeds 15,000, the game will make available to the empire the purchase of troops level 5 and so on until the city reaches the maximum population allowed, which is 100,000 inhabitants.
The amount of troops, regardless of the level, that each city produces depends directly on the development you have given to the building Castle. The troops produced are cumulative and as long as you don't buy them, they will always be available to be bought at any time you need them.
