History

Its appearance is of a floating ball of flesh with a large mouth, a single central eye and several tentacles with eyes on top with deadly magical powers.

Each eye of the beholder possesses a different magical ability; the main eye projects an anti-magic cone, and the other eyes use different magical abilities (disintegration of objects, transmutation of flesh to stone, sleep, induction of fear and infliction of serious wounds, among others). They can hypnotize the enemy and make him flee from battle.
