History
Dark High Elves are the best spellcasters in the world. If we take into account that the Dark Elves are also a race especially favored by arcane magic, we can understand the real power of these warriors. While the High Elves have always taken great precautions to protect themselves from the dangers of magic, especially chaos demons, the Dark Elves have long since begun to use dark magic at the risk of unleashing their full evil power. The innate magical powers of the Elves, and the supernatural vitality of evil they have combined in the Dark Elves to become great masters of dark magic.
The magical energy used by Dark Magic, or Darh, is not divided, but contains all eight types of winds in a wild combination of energy. The High Elven Mages knew the power of Dark Magic, but for eons renounced its possibilities, considering it too dangerous to use. However, the temptation eventually proved too strong for some elves, who began experimenting with dark magic in secret. The experiments unleashed more evil creatures into the world, and corrupted its practitioners, warping their minds and hardening their hearts. Thus were born the Dark Elf Sorcerers and, over time, the entire race of Dark Elves.
