Master Priests (N22)
History
Sigmar, in his divine wisdom of the all-seeing, knows that there are many supernatural and unseen horrors plaguing mankind, and so he channels his divine power through his priests. The imperial troops, confident in the strength of their faith, are able to resist and put to flight any enemy that attacks them: they need only hear the Warrior Priests reciting the Deus Sigmar, which inspires them to heroic deeds. But it is up to the Priests to fight the enemy on the spiritual and magical plane; and so they do, with prayers and invocations, almost as potent as the spells of the sorcerers, and with the strength of their determined minds.
Sigmar is a warrior god, so his clergy are the Warrior Priests. Sigmar, in his divine wisdom of the all-seeing, knows that there are many supernatural and unseen horrors that plague mankind, and so he channels his divine power through his worthy priests.
The Warrior Priests of Sigmar are zealous followers of the warrior god Sigmar, and loyal members of the Cult of Sigmar. This Cult requires its followers to combat all forms of evil with their many combat skills as well as their faith, which is why many of its priests accompany the armies of the Empire when they march to war. On the battlefield they act as beacons of morale, providing hope, restoring faith and inspiring men to fight in the face of any odds.
